- Live auction (auctioneer Sarah Minor) with student projects, themed baskets, trips and more being added daily!
This is Canaan Community Academy’s main fundraiser; students do not sell items. We prefer everyone to enjoy the experience while supporting the school. The money raised pays for field trips. Each year students experience one main field trip:
- Kindergarten - Louisville Zoo
- First Grade - KidsCommons Children’s Museum
- Second Grade - Newport Aquarium
- Third Grade - Huber Farms
- Fourth Grade - Kentucky Science Center
- Fifth Grade - Farmington Historic Plantation
- Sixth Grade - Camping trip
- Seventh Grade - Charleston, South Carolina
- Eighth Grade - Washington DC
The field trips provide opportunities for all of our students to explore new places and new experiences. Families do not pay out of pocket for their child(ren)'s field trips.
